I’m Shy (SOLD)

The Wildlife Hare was thought to have been introduced to Britain in the Roman era and is now considered naturalised. The Brown Hare (Lepus timidus) is mostly commonly found on open farmland, in grassland and at woodland edges. They are starting to decline in numbers due to loss of habitat and persecution from Hare coursers

Their head and body size varies from 16″ to 26″ with a short white tail. Their ears are between 3″ and 4″

Adults weigh between 2.5kg and 7kg and as a wild animal its life span wouldn’t be more than 6 years and they are largely nocturnal.

An original piece of artwork by Delia Prudence done in coloured pencil on drafting film. The piece is mounted and will fit into a 12″x16″ frame.

The Materials used were artist quality pencils all lightfast.
